Delete your account

Waffenschrank works completely without an account. If you created one — for cloud backup, device sync or a showcase — there are two ways to delete it again. Both delete the same things.

1. In the app — immediately

More → Cloud backup → Delete account. This is the faster route: deletion runs straight away and you see the result yourself.

2. Without the app — by message

You do not need the app installed. Send a plain message to kontakt@waffenschrank.app — from the email address the account was created with.

The sender address is the check. Only someone with access to the account mailbox can trigger the deletion. That is why there is no form here: one that deletes other people’s accounts on request would be a risk, not a convenience.

If you signed in with Apple or Google, write from the address held there. With Apple’s “Hide My Email” that is the address at @privaterelay.appleid.com.

What gets deleted

  • the account itself, including the sign-in
  • all cloud backups, with the photos and documents inside them
  • the device sync data
  • every published showcase — shared links stop working
  • the club page and the entries you sent to a club
  • the stored Pro entitlement
  • messages from the contact form that are linked to the account

What does not go with it

So that nothing here promises more than can be kept:

  • Contact messages sent without an account. They carry no account and cannot be matched to one. Write to us and we will delete them by hand.
  • Crash reports already sent. They carry neither account id nor email address. Crash reporting is off by default.
  • The data on your device. It stays until you delete the app — deliberately: deleting an account should not take your collection with it.
  • The purchase itself. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play, not by us.

How long it takes

In the app: immediately. By message: usually a few working days, at the latest within 30 days.
